Partnership Overview

Ease Into Your Goals has a mission to make travel more accessible for all. They create content and products that help their customers improve their lives through travel and global accessibility. In pursuit of this mission, the founder collaborated with small businesses, communities, and educational institutions to provide more opportunities for all. Ease Into Your Goals wanted to further enhance their social and environmental impact by partnering with Pact Three to assess, increase, and implement their goals, becoming a greater force for good. 

At the beginning of our partnership, Ease Into Your Goals felt as if their aspirations spanned a large spectrum for impact. They engaged Pact Three to ensure their impact was also mirrored within their business model.  

We partnered to assess Ease Into Your Goals’ current state of social and environmental impact, discover opportunities to achieve long-term results, and define an action plan towards becoming a social and environmental impact leader in the industry.

Partnership Results

Through a seven-month working partnership with Pact Three, quick win and major projects were outlined and addressed on a monthly basis. By pursuing these milestones, Ease Into Your Goals increased their social and environmental impact score by 465% in 7 months. We are pleased to say that Ease Into Your Goals will be able to start the B Corp submission process by September 2022. 

Pact Three’s initial social and environmental assessment identified Ease Into Your Goals’s strength around Community, which aligned well with Ease Into Your Goals’s mission. Pact Three also identified gaps within the Governance, Customers, and Community categories, which resulted in a detailed action plan and established the following:

  • Formalized commitments including a socially and environmentally responsible Mission Statement, Code of Ethics, Values, and Data and Privacy Policy to reinforce integrity. 

  • Establish a diverse Stakeholder Panel and Non-Fiduciary Board of Directors to support accountability to directly impact the brand loyalty, customer retention, and market growth. 

  • Enhanced customer satisfaction plan including a Net Promoter Score and customer feedback program.

  • Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and core impact objectives that will result in higher customer satisfaction ratings, intentional stakeholder engagement, and support marginalized communities through educational opportunities.

By leveraging the documentation and milestone plan, Ease Into Your Goals can continue formalizing their inward and outward-facing efforts for greater social and environmental impact even after the Pact Three partnership concludes.   • Ease Into Your Goals (EIYG) is a business that focuses on curating and creating content and products that help others ease into their goals with confidence. The current focus of EIYG is the sub-brand #easeintoadventure, which focuses on empowering others to feel prepared to plan and undertake travel with confidence.

  • Throughout the process of bringing my first products to market, I learned how difficult it is for small businesses to employ environmentally sustainable and inclusive practices, especially when it comes to sourcing products. I needed someone to guide me through the correct questions to ask when attempting to source products sustainably.

  • I entered into this partnership with a specific goal in mind, which was to learn how to source products more sustainably. However, through my interactions and correspondence with Pact Three, I was able to identify core goals beyond my original one. To become a more purposeful business, my core goals developed into supporting my community and planet via social and environmental impact.

    After my first meeting with Pact Three, I received a highly detailed and specific checklist for achieving my social and environmental goals. Not only could I see how to achieve my initial goal of this partnership, but I could see a true roadmap of opportunity that was inconceivable to me prior. Pact Three helped me put into words what I was aiming for in my head, and I have been able to quickly make positive changes to my business practices. The best “value add” was the specificity of recommendations to me, and Pact Three’s quick responses when I had questions about certain areas of my action plan.

  • Where to start? Prior to my interactions with Pact Three, I had never heard of the terms “KPI” and “OKR” or “NPS.” I had no idea that my tiny business could employ collaborative relationships such as a “Stakeholder Panel” and “Non-Fiduciary Board.” While these are definitions one could “google,” I would have passed over these tenets of running a sustainable business as being non-starters for a single-member LLC. Learning about these tools and collaboratively building protocols around them allowed me to refine my goals, clearly see short- and long-term achievable objectives, and gave me the confidence that I was taking steps in the correct direction. Pact Three is knowledgeable, and I did not feel judged or patronized in any interaction. Beyond this, the public implements on my website birthed from my Pact Three interactions have made me a more reliable and trustworthy brand.
